A couple of upsets yesterday with both Celtic and Man City failing to win at home, its more frustrating when the bigger priced selections come in as well, but at least we picked up £40 in profit from Ladbrokes witht he Racing FB and City enhanced price.

Villa will be full of confidence but fact remains they haven’t looked as effective away from Villa Park and are short enough against a side with only 4 defeats in 27 at home.
Brentford are without both first choice strikers however and Villa are on the back of a long European round trip and the draw looks a big runner with all those things taken into account.
Brentford have drawn 10 of their last 27 at home.

Dortmund are through and both sides PSG need a win to gaurantee progress here and with Dortmund also having a number of players injured the odds makers are favouring the away win.
However PSG at odds on away in the Champions League is an outcome well worth opposing to me. Not only have they already been beaten in Newcastle and Milan this year, overall their record losing 7 of thier last 15 away UCL games, conceding at least once in all of them, doesn’t inspire much confidence in them to get the job done here. PSG have lost four of their last six UCL away games against German opponents to boot.

I thought about leaving this one alone after getting Villa so wrong midweek. But at the end of the day City were twice the pice they had been on recent on previous visits.
The manner of Villa’s win however makes me think that Arsenal are perhaps a tad short today, they have only faced two sides in the top half away so far this season, losing 1-0 at Newcastle and drawing 2-2 at Chelsea.
The Draw would also make a lot of sense as a decent bet but with 14 home wins on the spin, Villa is the narrow call.
