Monday 14th September

Bit to sort through today with something like £45 worth of Freebets outstanding.
We don’t want to have to too many riding on the same outcomes and we want to try and be betting these on reasonable value bets as well.

Betfair Exchange
Sheff Utd v Wolves (18:00)
£10 (bonus funds) Draw @ 3.10

Two organised sides meet here and with only three goals in the two head to heads last season I wouldn’t expect many goals. Wolves drew 7 times away from home last season, and when you look at the results against those outside the top 5 and bottom 5, they drew a whopping 10 games from 18.

Betfair Sportsbook
Brighton v Chelsea (20:15)
£10 bonus funds Chelsea to win and BTTS @ 3.25

7 of Chelsea’s 8 away wins last season saw both teams score.

Betfred £5 FB (refund)
Sheff Utd v Wolves (18:00)
We’ve got the draw covered above, but there could also be value covering a correct score with a repeat of the July scoreline 1-0 Sheff Utd @ 7.50 – Sheff Uts won 26% of their home games 1-0 last season.
Henderson is a big loss in goal but the rest of the defense will have a familiar look to it.
£5 FB 1-0 Sheff Utd @ 7.50

Betfred £5 FB (credited by 5pm)

RB Leipzig v Atletico Madrid (20:00)

Correct Score, £5 FB Atletico 1-0 @ 6/1

Not got much beyond the obvious on this one, but that is often the best policy. Atleti beat Liverpool 1-0 and lost 1-0 (away, before going through in ET) in the last round.
They’ve won 4 of their last 16 in La Liga by 1-0 and it could be another archetypal Atletico performance again this evening.

Paddy Power – Power Price

£5 Atletico Madrid to win 1-0 or 2-0 @ 5.0

This should be shorter than 7/2, so 4/1 is a value price.

Kilmarnock v Celtic – Sunday 16:30
£20 Total Goals In Match – Exactly 4 goals @ 4.50

27% of Celtic’s matches last season had 4 goals. And each of the last 3 head to heads have ended 3-1 Celtic.

Paddypower £5 FB 14:25 Goodwood (hit claim)

Bet365 upto £50 free inplay (will get £25 so basing advice on that)

qualifier on Arsenal (with the added benefit of the 2 up offer)

https://nimb.ws/OwDXkH

I’m pretty neutral on the FA Cup final betting not really having a strong opinion. I do think Chelsea are worthy favourites but look a tad short in the betting so I’ll look to take advantage of the prices on Arsenal whilst reserving some angles to try and make a profit if Chelsea do prove to be superior on the day such as with the other FBs we have inplay.

Freebet: I’m going to go with my usual tactic of backing the DRAW with the Freebet as soon as match is underway, this looks a good option with Chelsea being too short for any real confidence and leaves us with good trading options to take a profit if its close.

Boylesports £10 risk free (mobile only)

£10 Arsenal @ 3.6
Boylesports are a standout price and 3.6 feels big for Arsenal.

Skybet bet £5 inplay (1st half) get £5 inplay (2nd half) (OPT IN)

This one required an inplay qualifier, advice is to back BTTS once underway and then lay it off as fast as possible in Smarkets, if a goal is scored in between odds will move only in your favour.

£10 Christain Pulisic – Whoscored Man of the Match @ 8.5

I like the look of this bet – Pulisic has been on an upward curve this summer, he’s playing for Chelsea who are favourites here and he picked up this prize (whoscored rating) when Chelsea won against Man City recently.

Betfred Price Boost Snooker World Champs (31/7 – 15/8)

There will be plenty of people taking maximum stakes on this and laying off on the exchanges – I advise against that, keep stakes small and just take a little bit of value.

Betfair Exchange £20 FB Betstreak

We kept the full £20 alive yesterday with two decent price winners, hopefully you checked you were matched before kick off!

Fulham v Cardiff kick off 19:45
£10 FB Fulham to win to nil @ 3.55 (requested but matched quickly)

Fulham have won 5 of thier last 10 home games “to nil”, they shut out Cardiff in the 1st leg with a 2-0 win, and they also beat Cardiff 2-0 here in the league earlier in the month. They don’t need to score to get to the play off final, but they won 10 of their 23 home games without conceding and with Cardiff needing to come forward at some stage, they could leave themselves open.

15:15 Goodwood
£10 FB Nazeef @ 4.4
Six straight wins and might still be flying under the radar unexposed at this distance, looks as good a bet as any today.

Betfair Exchange £5 FB
2.45 Goodwood Al Aasy £5 @ 5.50

I’ve placed these in the order above but I believe they are all “betstreak” FB’s so will yeild more FB’s if they win.

Betfred Freebet –
If you did the inpay offer last night and have a FB with Betfred, I suggest any off the above selections, I won’t include this on in my results as I didn’t do do a qualifier yesterday.

Qualifiers:
Leicester – Manchester Utd
Over 0.5 Goals in Each Half
£5 @ 1.67

Newcastle Utd – Liverpool
Over 0.5 Goals in Each Half

Goals should hopefully be forthcoming at both Leicester who are missing four defenders including both first choice full backs. And at Newcastle who might as well attack Liverpool who’s matches where they’ve made changes have typically been entertaining affairs.

FreeBet

AC Milan – Atalanta today, 20:45 BST

£5 FB Ante Rebic to score, AC Milan to win and BTTS @ 7.0

This evenings clash between Milan and Atalanta looks a tasty match up with both sides in form, the value however looks to be with the home side who are unbeaten in 10 and have beaten Roma, Lazio and most notably Juve since the restart. We can get 6/1 on them winning with Rebic scoring and BTTS, something that’s happened in three of thier last nine games.

Everton v Bournemouth – Double Chance
Everton And Draw @ 1.36

Leicester v Man Utd – Double Chance
Man Utd And Draw @ 1.3

Southampton v Sheff Utd- Match Odds
Southampton @ 2.10

West Ham v Aston Villa – Double Chance
West Ham and Draw @ 1.57

£10 Accumulator  @ 5.85

Man Utd haven’t lost to Leicester in 11 meetings and with Leicester having won only two of eight since the restart and missing several key men at the back, Utd can avoid defeat again and claim a place in the Champions League. Bournemouth are at the last chance saloon but they’ve been there for a while now and save for a freak result against Leicester haven’t looked like getting the results they need. They’ve lost 9 of thier last 12 and Everton haven’t lost at home since November. Villa have won just 2 of 18 away games so it would take a big leap of faith to back them at 2.32 away against West Ham, regardless of the need for pts. West Ham have been playing much better and in form Antonio might be hard to stop, and in any case Villa could find themselves only needing a point (or nothing at all) with their relegation rivals also facing tricky away fixtures. Southampton is the one that’s more difficult to back up with stats, as they have been better  away from home, Sheffield Utd have just 2pts from five away games since the restart however scoring just one goal in those games. The Saints have scored in 7 of their last 8 and with Danny Ings looking bang on form he could be the difference.

Skybet Priceboost:

£10 Liverpool, Tottenham & Arsenal all to win (was 3/1) @ 5/1

Arsenal and Tottenham look acceptable prices before the boost this weekend so happy to take the price on this one. Liverpool should be beating Newcastle yet that one remains more of an unknown as the price could go either way depending on the lineup, but Newcastle have conceded 12 goals in thier last 5 so Liverpool should be able to outscore them so long as thier rearguard isn’t too hung over or switched off.

Friday 17th July

Betfair Sportsbook £5FB Multiples:

West Ham v Watford
West Ham@2.5

Huddersfield v West Brom
West Brom@1.67

£5FB Double @ 4.17

Watford have lost 11 of 17 away from home, West Ham will be looking at their remaining fixtures and perhaps not expecting anything from Old Trafford so will be banking on 3pts here. The price @ 2.5 looks nice, a draw would push both closer to safety but I think West Ham have enough about them. Coupling that with a West Brom side who are on the brink of promotion and should be able to beat a Huddersfield side than are creating virtually nothing going forward of late.

Coral HT Winner – suggest cash out £50 FB from yesterday.
Here’s an example https://nimb.ws/CLdfE2 it does require a lot of liquidity however.
As an alternate use of the FB I suggest a three short priced selections (1.50 – 2.0)  and using the whole FB on 3 x £16.50 doubles, this will mean something back from 2 correct and nice winner from 3 correct, whist avoiding the risk of a big win on the bookmaker account or looking like a matched bettor by taking a big price with the Fb to cash out. This is higher risk but I will post my doubles later on twitter.

£7 Liverpool & West Brom to win & Chelsea to draw with Sheffield Utd (was 8/1) @ 11/1
£3 Liverpool, West Brom & Sheffield Utd all to win (was 12/1) @ 18/1

Chelsea are creating lots of chances but are not the most solid at the back and on the road they have actually only won 2 of their last 7. Even in winning at Villa and Palace both of those matches could have ended in draws so I think Sheff Utd could be good enough to at least avoid defeat. I will cover the home win but want most profit on the draw, assuming the other two results (where we dont have the options) come in.

Watford v Newcastle (12:30)
Same Game Multi
Draw and BTTS
£5 Double @ 4.65

Newcastle have been more attacking since securing their safety and Watford whilst being leaky will need to come forward and should also score, the home side in particular might see a point as something to hold onto this weekend so that looks a decent option here.

Qualifier

Brighton v Man City (20:00)
Handicap Match Result
Brighton ( + 2 ) @2.0
Atletico Madrid v Betis (21:00)
Atletico Madrid @1.4

£10 Double @2.80

Its easy to be in awe of City with their home wins over Newcastle, Liverpool, Burnley and Arsenal since the restart being very impressive. On the road however they have lost 3 of their last 4 and haven’t over come a 2 goal handicap away from home since Aston Villa away in January. City could be excused for lacking focus here with their PL position assured and the Champions League on the horizon and although City could absolutely turn it on, the value looks to be with the home side having a 2 goal start. In Spain Atlei have won 7 of their last 9 at home and 6 of the last 7 H2H with Betis. With a Champion League spot to secure their focus should be there and a home win looks a solid bet.

I am minded to think that Bournemouth will get something from this game having had the extra time to prepare in the knowledge that its probably their bast chance of getting a win between now and the end of the season.  Newcastle have only lost two of their last 10 however and thier doggedness might result in another stalemate here.  I will add in BTTS as Bournemouth haven’t kept a clean sheet in 14 matches.

£5 Double @ 4.2

Norwich have now scored just one goal in seven Premier League matches.  They may struggle again against Arsenal who will probably dominate possession. Sporting have won 10 of 14 at home this season where they are typically very hard to beat, two defeats against Benfica and Porto are forgivable given those two are streets ahead of the rest. Gil Vicente have seven straight league losses at Sporting.

West Ham have conceded 2 or more in 9 of 15 at home. Chelsea have scored two or more in 7 of their last 10 competitive matches, with the sides stopping them being Man Utd, Bayern Munich and Leicester. SPAL have the worse home record in Serie A and have lost their last 6 at home. Milan have started well after the restart winning both their League games whilst holding Juve in the Cup and conceding only 1 goal.
