I am not going to lose faith in England now! Mead has scored every 64 mins on average this tournament, with each foot and her head. I don’t see the England ladies folding under pressure like the mens team so often have and I think they are the best team, have home support and also the best strength in depth/options from the bench.

(We have just under £80 profit riding on England winning the trophy from an earlier advised FB double with 888 @ 16.75. You have the option to hedge that now by laying England to win the Tournament @ 1.91 on the exchanges. I am personally going to let it run, but if you don’t like the thought of winning nothing from the bet just lay them for £10, £25 or whatever you feel comfortable giving up from your potential profit.)

England won the 2nd half 4-0 in each of their last two H2H matches with Northern Ireland, and also have been banging in the 2nd half goals against other opponents recently with 4-0 2nd half scorelines in their favour against Switzerland and The Netherlands. (Their last two warm up games before this tournament). 8/1 about this happening again looks a very fair price.
