Scotland v Malta

Scotland v Malta (19:45)
As I covered in my preview of England v Malta, the Maltese do generally keep the score down, despite the relative difference in class.
Their resilience finally wilted against England late on however and there’s a chance that tiredness won’t be out of the legs come this evening, which would be a problem as Scotland will be high spirits following on from a morale boosting victory in Lithuania. Scotland scored five in Malta and thats 19 goals shipped in 7 games now.
This should only be a question of scoreline for the Scots but the best value looks to be on the goalscorer markets.
Leigh Griffiths is the main man up front and he has scored a brace twice already this season (for Celtic) in the five times he’s played 60 mins or more.
Naturally, playing in the SPL he’s a flat-track bully and this evening’s fixture could suit him perfectly, he’s also the designated free-kick and penalty taker.
Generally he’s about 2/1 to score 2 or more, but he’s as short as 6/5 and Lads have him in at 7/5. So the 3/1 on offer with Bet365 and Betfred looks value worth taking.
Also as first goalscorer he’s 10/3 with Bet365 (4.33) when just 2/1 (3.0) generally elsewhere. And can be backed at 7/2 with Hills as one of their match specials.

£5 Griffiths First goalscorer @ 7/2 WillHill or 4.33 Bet365
£5 Griffiths to score 2 or more @ 3/1 Betfred or Bet365

England Specials – Hills

6 out of 11 home matches since the start of 2016 have finished either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 to the home side for England.
They are short priced favourites again to beat Slovakia this evening and have beaten them four times out of the five they’ve met.
Three of those wins were 2-1 or 1-0.
Harry Kane has scored in his last 3 England appearances and indeed has now scored 4 of England’s last 6 goals.
Where am I going with all this?

Hills have a few enhanced specials on this and one in particular looks way too big.
Kane to score and England to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1,  I’d have closer to 9/4. Given the correct scores dutched would work out shorter than 6/4.
I’ve put £10 on and you can even “boost” this price further to 5.39/1.

Betfair Odds Boost, Ladbrokes Price Boost

I suspect at least one of the teams playing at 3pm will fail to score. That said 18/1 is a big price and realistically I’d have this at 15/1 ish so a small bit of value in there.
Keep stakes small.
£2.50 Both teams to score in all four 3pm kick offs @ 18/1 Betfairsportsbook.

A price I like from Ladbrokes today is on the early kick off.
They have Man City to win and 4 or more goals in the match @ 15/8.
This is now 6/5 to 6/4 elsewhere and represents a value price.

£10 Man City to win and 4 or more goals in the match @ 15/8 Ladbrokes

Skybet Priceboost

£5 Liverpool, Middlesborough and Birmingham all to win with Skybet “Super Boost”.
Downplaying the stakes a little on this one, its good value and worth being on.

Skybet Superboost

Skybet escaped last week with a late Norwich goal preventing a Fulham win and a big payout for us and many others.
Again this price is well worth taking, best odds elsewhere around 3/1 so we’ll take the odds.
Note: my stakes on this are only a guide but are based on keeping in line with other bets and also trying to stay under the radar.
If you do this to maximum stakes (about £25) there’s probably more chance of losing the account.

£10 Chelsea, Everton and Crystal Palace to win @ 6/1 Skybet

SkyBet SuperBoost

A nice offer to kick off the English Football League from Skybet.
This may or may not come in, but its taking value odds like this over the longer term which is key.

Skybet Special:
£10 on Fulham, Portsmouth and Bradford all to win @ 10/1.
This is an easy call, best price elsewhere is 5.5/1 at best so I think there’s definite value to be had with this.
