Ante-Post

Best bets from four divisions:

Arsenal to be top at Xmas @ 3.50
Swansea top Welsh club in the Championship @ 3.0
MK Dons top 6 finish in L1 @ 2.75
Oldham top 7 finish in L2 @ 2.75

4 x £2.50 Trebles and 1 x Four Fold. (£12.50 total staked)

I did try and think of something else of for the PL leg of this one as I’m aware the four fold could go down by Christmas, but I keep coming back to that being the best value option.

£20 Arsenal to be top at Xmas @ 3.60 Skybet
(3.75 Betway if you can get on there)

Arsenal have been top of the Premier League on Christmas day in 3 of the last 4 seasons.
In none of those seasons were they favourites for the title and this seasons there’s perhaps more reasons to think their rivals might need
time to find form with most being under new management. There is a lot more potential for variance within this market of course but asking them to repeat what they’ve been able to do
in three of the last four seasons isn’t a huge ask and around 5/2 looks a decent price for me.

£15 Premier League – Number of Promoted Teams to be relegated 3 @ 5.0

Burnley were the only promoted side to be relegated last season but in each of the prior two seasons all three promoted sides promptly went back to the Championship.
This season Hull don’t seem to have much hope and are not going to be bringing in the kind of talent Sunderland managed to. Leeds were the other side that bucked the recent trend who also looked better than either of Coventry or Ipswich before a ball was kicked. The likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace or Sunderland regressing enough to get embroiled in a relegation fight isn’t out of the question but at this point in time it seems only Coventry and Ipswich stand a chance and the odds on all three going down look acceptable.

£6 each way Valentin (Taty) Castellanos top goal scorer – Championship @ 10/1 Ladbrokes

West Ham could easilly be one the sides that blow away the Chamionship, after all they got 39 points in the Premier League last season and have kept their star man Bowen.
But Bowen might just be a false favourite in the Top GS market, as the Hammers seem to be playing with Castellanos as their out and out striker. He got two in West Ham’s EFL Cup opening last Saturday, one set up by Bowen, which could easily be a recurring theme this season. Of course they may yet do more business in the transfer market but if they go to war with this front line he seems bound to get a lot of goals.

£25 David Raya

He’s finished top in this market in each of the last three seasons (1 Tied), and with more stability has arguably greater chances this season.
