Matchday Profits Members Service – 2023/24 Review

Another year in the bank!
Seasons Total Profit of  £1758

So another decent enough year for me, with actually being my 9th year running Matchdayprofits now with the total profit achieved standing at £18940.
Unlike many services these are my ACTUAL profits.
The number of bets includes qualifying bets and the average profit per bet was £2.03, we were running much higher than that before a bit of slump over the Euros.
Now it doesn’t sound a lot but I think getting paid £2 for something that takes literally seconds is pretty good business. Of course there’s more it it than that though with the bets providing us with a lot of excitement along the way, win or lose.
As is the norm I utilised whatever accounts I was able to over the last year that I were offering favourable value to us, so the breakdown of profits per bookie was once again different to previous years.
Notable additions were BetMGM who offered a lot of value.

Breakdown per bookie:

The donut chart highlights which firms where most profitable for me. (I’ve omitted those few that had a small loss for simplicity)

So the biggest earners over the last 12 months have been Hills, Ladbrokes, Bet365 and newcomers BetMGM.
I have noted that BetMGM have changed their “Golden Acca” promotion recently so 100% boost on 7 fold Accas is now only 12%, and you need 16 selections to get the 100% boost! – something we wont be getting involved with. They’ve also downgraded the two weekend 20% racing boosts to just 10%, again removing the value. Perhaps they was just looking to make a mark and that will be that, either way we’ll only be getting involved where there’s worthwhile value.

Breakdown per offer type:

We can see that the majority of the profit came from the Bet n Get type offers which have been great, and also the Enhanced Odds/Boosts.
Its important to note that as I’m doing “Advantage Play” matched betting I’m not just taking a gauranteed profit from these offers, I’m finding winners at decent odds which we only need to find infrequently to turn a tidy profit from. The Enhanced Prices/Boosts has often been a category largely out of my control in the past but this season its worth noting that there’s been many a boost available on particular bets such as BetBuilders or Accumulators, so although there’s been an element of skill involved in that chunk of profit, if it is still largely underpinned by the rudimentary performance of what the bookies choose to boost.

How To Replicate These Profits

Pretty much anyone (UK based) can replicate what I’m doing with my bets. So long as you can access the same offers that I’m using.
This means having unrestricted accounts at the likes of Ladbrokes and William Hill along with the others mentioned above. However if you can you should also look to take advantage of offers with Betfair, Paddypower, SkyBet, Betfred & Unibet – to name but a few. All of these have historically offered some great promotions and concessions.

If you join up I’ll share my exact bets which fit the offers that I’m doing – you will get access to a members only blog where everything is posted and you’ll also be emailed.
You should also follow me on X (Twitter) and hit the bell icon on my profile to get instant notifications so you don’t miss anything.

I’ve been helping people make money from betting since 2006 and matched betting since about 2015, sharing my own “advantage play” bets. I have a big appetite for working with odds and beating the odds, which I'm happy to share via my website and newsletters.
