Wednesday Value

Tour de France – Tour Winner

2pts Tadej Pogacar @ 2.10 BetfairExchange

I was surprised to see Pogacar above Evens in this market. Given the fact that he already has an 11-second gap on his main rival Jonas Vingegaard and has shown that he appears in very good shape despite breaking his wrist in April. Pogacar has won 2 of the 3 Tours he has competed in and last year’s loss to Vingegaard owed as more to the strength of Jumbo-Visma than Pogacar’s weakness. In any case he will have learned form that one “off day”, his team look stronger this time around and Jumbo is perhaps not as strong without Roglic. Vingegaard has shown he is capable of following Pogacar but not outsprinting him and Pogacar has beaten the Dane in 6 of the 9 Time Trials they’ve both been in. So all in I think Pogacar should be odds-on for the GC.

I’ve been helping people make money from betting since 2006 and matched betting since about 2015, sharing my own “advantage play” bets. I have a big appetite for working with odds and beating the odds, which I'm happy to share via my website and newsletters.
