BetBull want to give you £70.
This a very nice account sign up offer that might not be around long so my advice is to take advantage of it whilst you can.
Before you dive in there’s some things you should be aware of that will make extracting the profit from this offer a little easier.
The process is easy enough for experienced matched bettors but there’s more involved than most regular “bet and get” offers.
So let’s get stuck in.
Betbull is an app based bookmaker with a quirky app based around group betting on multiples.
It’s a clever platform based around keeping users engaged and coming back for more… would be a nice way of explaining it.
Another way would be to say it’s designed to be extremely addictive, like facebook.
We are not going to be falling into that trap though, we are here to carefully and methodically extract money from Betbull.
The terms:
Step 1 Open your account and deposit £100
You can do this by downloading the mobile app although it’s worth noting although its app-based, there’s a browser version so you can do this on the web as well.
At this point, you should know that you will need a well funded Smarkets Exchange account, by that I mean around £500 or at least the ability to fund that amount.
You may not need anywhere near that but to extract the most profit easily you don’t want to run into any problems not being able to cover the liability on the lays.
(Note: Smarkets allow you lay multiples – other exchanges like Betfair do not have this feature)
Step 2 The Qualifying Bets
The qualifying bets need to be precisely four x £25 (if you deposited £100), or one-quarter of your deposit. They don’t need to be accas, but they do need to be above 1.5.
So you want to find some favourites to back that can be layed off at similar odds. Think big matches with favourites in the 1.5-2.1 range.
For this, I used the oddsmatcher at ProfitAccumulator. Some of the free oddsmatchers don’t cover BetBull but if you’ve no “paid-for” matched betting site membership you can do a manual comparison by loading up the next round of top-flight matches in Smarkets and comparing lay odds to BetBull’s back odds.
You will probably want to change the odds to decimal in the app to make this whole process easier – to get here hit Profile (the little icon top left home screen)>Settings (cog top right)>App Settings
Finding the actual matches you want can be a little tricky as the whole app is set up to get you to just back the same multiples as random strangers like a mug – we don’t want to do that!
So click the sportsbook icon and then if you can’t see the match you want just use the search in the top left to find it.
The four qualifiers I found cost -£0.89, -£1.65, -£1.23 & -£1.55, and I’m on 0% commission with Smarkets.
The last of these was backing at 1.97 and laying at 2.1.
As you can see from the example below (using the free calculator at ProfitAccumulator) this would cost £1.79 – £1.80 even if on 2% commission. You can probably find better matches than this but I wanted to get the offer done and dusted fast.
Step 3 – Turning Free Bets into CASH
This is where things get mildly complicated since the free bets can only be used on “accas or system bets with 3 selections or more”.
But if you’re not sure how to do this last part do not fret, just take care and you will be fine.
You should see the freebet tokens listed as unlocked once your qualifying bets have settled.
Now, again if you have access to an oddsmatcher like the one at ProfitAccumulator it makes sense to use it, although with the amount of football on right now its probably just as easy to do this without.
You want to build a treble comprising of three relatively decent odds matches, and ideally, this wants to work out around 7.0 -10.0. That will allow you to retain a greater % of the £25.
Given that you need to do all four bets within a week – as they will expire after 7 days – I wasn’t too picky, I just looked for the matches that already had a lot of liquidity on Smarkets, so look for small gaps between back and lay odds there.
If you go with two short-priced favourites and then a draw, you should find the odds work out about right.
Below you can see an example of one of my “cash outs”.
Once you’ve added three selections to the betslip take note of the Total Odds, in this case 8.776.
Find the selections on Smarkets and you want to click the GREEN back odds on the teams to add them to the betslip.
Next you want to click the BLUE SELL button to the right of the BUY button under MULTIPLES. This will change the odds to show the lay odds for the treble.
You can see below that they were 11.0
Next go to your calculator and change the Bet Type to Free Bet (SNR) as shown below, and enter your back odds from BetBull along with your lay odds for the multiple from Smarkets and your commission rate.
We can now see that the lay stake is £17.76 and this will require £176.70 in Smarkets to cover the liability.
Assuming you can cover the liability, next you will want to double-check you have selected the exact same matches with BetBull and Smarkets, bearing in mind most teams are playing twice a week at the moment, and double-check the liability is what the calculator says it should be.
Once you are happy, select the FB in the BetBull slip and place the bet. Then click the green SELL button to lay the treble on Smarkets.
Repeat for each of the Free Bets.
Profits
My profit from this offer was
FB 1 £17.26
FB 2 £14.83
FB3 £18.03
FB4 £17.67
– £5.32 Qualifying losses = £62.47 Profit
FreeSpins
If you login each day after you’ve opened the account you will most likely find free spins on Starburst to use.
Please remember the aim of the app is to get you to start wasting your money, so use the freespins up and then exit the slot.
I got £6.08 from three free rounds of free spins, some will get more some will win less. Whatever you get its just a little bonus.
So £68.55 profit all in.
If you follow the steps above you can expect to profit £65-75 from this offer.
If you’re ready to move on from sign up offers you might want to consider becoming a matchday profits member, I share my exact bets from a few regular offers which make around £150-£300 profit a month.
